Senior Software Engineer, Fitbit Subscriptions Experience

Architect, build, and maintain scalable services and APIs using Java and Google’s infrastructure to support Fitbit Premium.

Take end-to-end responsibility for the software development lifecycle, from ideation, technical design and implementation to testing and operational maintenance.

Partner with product managers and mobile engineers to define API specifications and ensure seamless feature integration within the Fitbit app.

Conceptualize and implement technical solutions that surface the value of Premium features and coaching to drive subscription growth.

Analyze complex challenges, write maintainable code, and monitor service performance to ensure high availability and low latency.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.

3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.

Experience in the Java programming language.
