The GCS Revenue Strategy and Operations (RSO) team drives the strategy and operations for the Global Google Customer Solutions Sales teams. The team leads the strategy, design, planning, and operations of programs that drive a scalable and analytical approach to generating incremental business growth. This team works in partnership with cross-functional teams across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Google Technical Services (g Tech), and Engineering.

Within RSO, the Central Strategy & Operations (CSO) team leads global, cross-functional, cross-GCS strategic initiatives to drive growth and operational excellence. The core capabilities of the team include strategic planning, sales incentives and integrity, Ads policy, and executive business management.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $320,000-$445,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Serve as a thought leader to design and land complex global initiatives that drive sustained revenue impact for GCS through systems-based leadership, responding to the external environment, and navigating the complex Google ecosystem.

  • Lead high performing, global teams through transformational change removing barriers to innovation and execution.

  • Be a trusted advisor to product strategy and revenue programs teams to help ensure incentives and workflows drive sustainable sales behaviors.

  • Deliver high quality executive communications, lead presentations and discussions with senior stakeholders, and operate seamlessly across multiple teams.

  • Build enduring cross-functional partnerships to align and influence organizational priorities across GCS and Global Business Organization (GBO).

Minimum qualifications

  • MBA degree or equivalent practical experience

  • 15 years of experience leading strategy and operations, or business finance within the technology industry

  • 15 years of experience leading cross-functional projects across domains

  • 10 years of experience in business strategy, management consulting, corporate development, or managing commercial operations across multiple product lines or business units

  • 10 years of people management experience, including managing managers and distributed global teams

  • Experience presenting to, advising, and managing relationships with executive-level stakeholders

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience manipulating and interpreting large data sets

  • Ability to manage, influence and persuade others without direct authority

  • Analytical modeling skills
