• Work on data pipelines, front-end, and tools that Android engineers use to track platform and application performance, identify root causes of bugs or regressions, and identify opportunities for optimization.

• Manage tracing, stability, memory, startup, performance, and power based on the large-scale analysis of continuous metrics, system traces, callstack samples, and heap profiles

• Work across the stack, from the Android platform to building new tracing collection and analysis tools, large-scale server-side pipelines, visualization frontends.

The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
