Senior Electrical Engineer, Laptops and Tablets

Design, develop, and review Laptops and Tablets and their sub-components from concept to mass production.

Drive resolution of cross-functional issues related to architecture and development, including performance, power consumption, thermal behavior, production quality, failure analysis, manufacturing, schematic design and review, PCB layout, and overall system integration.

Work with Engineering/Qualification teams on system bring up and design validation, and with the Support team in debug and failure analysis investigation.

Participate in product development and provide detailed technical development of the motherboard and peripheral boards of the systems.

The Laptops and Tablets Hardware Engineering team works closely with l SOC/CPU manufacturers and OEMs/Original Design Manufacturer (ODMs) in delivering next-generation computing devices.
You will design, develop and deploy next generation hardware with manufacturing partners together. You will define system hardware architects and requirements, oversee physical engineering design layout, troubleshoot and work cross-functionally on system integration. You will also work cross-functionally with software, operation and product to deliver systems to production.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

4 years of experience working in a consumer electronics system design technical environment.

4 years of experience in circuit board level design engineering, including CPU or chipset, memory, high speed communication interfaces, and power supplies.
