About the job

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to co-ordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

Our team procures and delivers the cooling and electrical gear that power our data centers. The end result of our work is the delivery of Google's products and services to billions of users around the world. As a Spend Planning Program Manager, you will be responsible for the budgeting, forecasting, and governance of CAPEX and OPEX needed to support our supply chain for existing and new products. You will be responsible for the interpretation of the data center demand signal and translating it to a capital plan for our supply chain driving optimal funding decisions. You will work closely with equipment and data center planning, purchasing, engineering, fulfillment, commodity management, and contract manufacturing teams to develop and manage the execution of an accurate funding plan supporting procurement activities and business strategies.

You will use your skills to establish metrics, process, and system improvements to accomplish efficiency and scalability goals and ensure proper governance influencing our rapidly growing data center infrastructure supply chain.
