Financial Analysts ensure that Google makes sound financial decisions. As a Financial Analyst, your work, whether it's modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. While working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to solve big picture challenges.

The New Business Treasury Implementations (NBTI) team’s mission is enabling efficient money movements for Alphabet. We collaborate with Product Areas and Payments, designing and implementing various strategies that align with Treasury best practices.

In this role, you will be responsible for product enablement, structuring fund flows, and supporting geographical expansion. Additionally, you will design banking infrastructure and implement risk and control measures to ensure compliance and mitigate payment processor risks.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Treasury work streams for the operationalization and implementation of new product and feature launches, including process creation, enhancement, and automation efforts for Treasury workflows.

  • Partner with Payments and other cross-functional teams to design and implement payment workflows, supporting banking infrastructure and processes. Prepare detailed documentation, conduct quantitative analysis, and create presentations to inform management decisions regarding Treasury impacts.

  • Engage with third parties, including banks and Fin Techs, to solve Treasury issues and implement payment solutions.

  • Review banking documents, processes, and systems, and maintain local banking relationships.

  • Prepare and analyze daily cash positions, ensuring adequate cash and liquidity. Provide daily operational support for tasks such as executing wire transfers, managing fraud filter activity, releasing payments, and troubleshooting payment failures.

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 4 years of experience in Treasury, payments or finance operations.

  • Experience with Indian banking systems and regulations.

Preferred qualifications

  • MBA degree.

  • Experience in financial modeling.

  • Understanding of treasury systems and how they support business processes.

  • Ability to discuss in cross-functional groups to identify issues/resolutions, using business acumen.

  • Excellent communication skills.
