As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end program execution for product launches.

• Drive influence across the program team and the program overall.

• Manage program management by navigating complexity across high breadth and depth.

• Identify opportunities to improve processes, launch velocity driving decisions and organize work into subprojects.

• Collaborate with engineering and product management to drive prioritization, planning and product roadmap.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 5 years of experience in engineering program management.

• 5 years of experience in cloud computing emerging technologies or related technical fields.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with Google’s infrastructure and infrastructure management systems.

• Experience with VMware ecosystem and tools.

• Experience managing large, cross-functional programs spanning a various set of stakeholders in engineering organizations.

• Understanding of technical judgement and distributed systems.
