Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.
Google Distributed Cloud (GDC) is at the forefront of bringing Google's AI innovation to the edge and on-premises environments. As a Product Manager on the GDC Solutions team, you will be part of a high-impact group responsible to bring Google's AI capabilities, complex enterprise workloads and applications to customer environments where data sovereignty, security, and low latency are paramount. You will work at the intersection of next-generation hardware, high-performance software architecture, and complex enterprise systems needed to run a full private cloud.
In this role, you will build solutions that meet customer’s business objectives. You will work extensively with customers, partners, Engineering, Product, Sales, Customer Engineering, etc. and requires deep technical expertise, collaboration/team skills and business acumen.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $138,000-$198,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities
-
Be a trusted advisor for strategic customers. Build and maintain strong customer relationships. Gather customer insights and feedback.

Define solution requirements based on customer discussions and business needs.

Conduct design workshops, and author solution design guides, reference architectures, and blueprints.

Support and partner with the larger field technical community.

Train sales, partners and customers on best practices on network designs.
Minimum qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
-
3 years of experience in product management or related technical roles.
-
1 year of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.).

1 year of experience in network, network security, cloud architecture, solutions architecture, or related roles.
Preferred qualifications
-
Master's degree in a technology or business related field.

2 years of experience in a technical function or role (e.g., Solution Architect, Technical marketing Engineer, Sales engineer).

2 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to customers and internal stakeholders.
-
2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales, finance, and other stakeholders.
-
1 year of experience in software development or engineering.

Knowledge of, or continued interest in building accessibility best practices, and experience/curiosity for incorporating accessibility into product development methodologies.
