Staff Software Engineer, Ads Safety

Develop and drive the overarching strategy and roadmap for Ads Safety Experiences. Align this goal with Google's commitment to creating a secure and trustworthy online environment for users, advertisers, and publishers worldwide.

Set the technical direction for high-quality, maintainable solutions that will serve Google for years to come.

Advocate Engineering Excellence. Model and enforce sustainable engineering practices. This includes reviewing postmortems and launches, helping drive operational excellence, and participating in on-call rotations to ensure the reliability of our systems.

Contribute to the design process by reviewing and co-authoring design documents. Serve as a key technical decision-maker for your team's designs, ensuring they are scalable.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

8 years of experience programming in C++, Java, Python, Kotlin or Go.

5 years of experience testing, and launching software products.

3 years of experience with software design and architecture.

Experience designing and building large-scale systems, including serverless and service-oriented architecture (SOA).
