The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

Ensure hardware design integrity for Google Pixel platforms by validating SoC Dynamic Voltage and Frequency Scaling (DVFS) and peripheral IO across various Operating System (OS) and Firmware (FW) versions.

Direct cross-functional execution of validation plans, troubleshooting, and documentation to maintain design quality and ecosystem performance.

Execute design verification, signal characterization, power delivery, and interoperability testing while defining system-level validation plans for the Pixel ecosystem.

Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to resolve issues in hardware architecture, system performance, production quality, and overall integration.
Minimum qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

2 years of experience working in a consumer electronics/embedded systems design technical environment, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
Preferred qualifications
-
Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field.

Experience with embedded systems, processor selection, various communication protocols (e.g., DRAM, UFS, USB-C, SPI, I2C/I3C, UART, MIPI, DSI/CSI), analog design, sensor design, low power design, audio acoustics, Cadence/Allegro, and various RF technologies.

Experience in prototype bring-up and debugging, functional verification, and python scripting.

Experience with SOC architecture and validation.

Ability to design high-speed digital or analog systems.

Familiarity with concepts like concurrency, Dynamic Voltage and Frequency Scaling (DVFS), and peripheral interfaces.
