• Develop GPU graphics and compute technologies spanning the GPU software stack.

• Seek general solutions to problems, minimizing application or device-specific workarounds to serve users of all Pixel devices, including in-market devices.

• Help to evaluate and bring-up devices and work with product and engineering teams to define the role and requirements of the GPU in future product designs.

• Debug user mode and kernel mode problems.

In this role, you will share ownership of the kernel Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) driver and the user-space graphics driver stack. You will be involved in developing new features, performance improvements, bringing silicon up, debugging testing problems and identifying future requirements for software and hardware in Pixel products.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

• 5 years of experience with software development.

• 3 years of experience in testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.

• 2 years of experience in C or C++ and embedded systems (e.g., firmware, Linux kernel, device drivers).

• Experience in graphics or graphics processing unit.
