About the role

About the job

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

In this role, you will develop a unified demand and supply planning process across integrated planning and logistics.

Responsibilities

  • Implement communications standards across a portfolio of programs including executive and key partner communications.

  • Establish a reliable and visible cadence for program reviews, decision-making, prioritization, and Resource Stewardship (effective deployment of machine and people resources) whereby improvements such as efficiency and utilization gains are measurable and impactful.

  • Lead a governance structure that drives effective executive decision-making.

  • Define and manage a program portfolio solving problems that aim high business impact for the organization.

  • Build alliances with cross-organization and cross-functional stakeholders who have similarly aligned priorities.

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 2 years of experience in program or project management.

  • Experience with Demand/Supply Planning, forecasting, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems.

Preferred qualifications

  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

  • Experience with manufacturing, supply chain management, or fulfillment planning and execution, in a new product introduction (NPI) role.

  • Experience with Data Center Operations.

  • Experience in the technology industry.
