The Asset & Wealth Management Strategic Transformation Office is the entity tasked with overseeing comprehensive large-scale transformations. Our primary objectives are to enhance scalability, drive revenue growth, improve client experience, and elevate controls to optimize our operating platform. This group comprises of three critical functions, including (1) Product Management, (2) Design and (3) Change Management
The Product Management & Design team is looking for a Product Manager within the Public Investing team, where you will drive the product vision, strategy, and execution for our Public Investing platforms and capabilities. This critical role will be instrumental in transforming our current technology landscape from disparate systems to a unified, data-driven, and AI-enabled ecosystem. The Product Manager will lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, improve investment performance, mitigate risk, and elevate the client experience across the entire public investing value chain – Research, Portfolio Management and Implementation, Trading, Risk and Performance Analytics.
This role works collaboratively with the leadership across the Investment teams, Distribution, Operations and Technology organizations to deliver a robust and comprehensive strategy and lead execution.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of asset management, financial instruments, product management best practices, and emerging technologies in data and artificial intelligence. This role requires a visionary leader who can translate complex business needs into actionable product roadmaps and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
We are looking for a talented and passionate Product Manager who thrives in an extremely entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment. This is a high visibility role, interfacing with business leaders and will require creativity and drive to deliver on the ambitious goals and roadmap.
How You Will Fulfill Your Potential on the Product Management team:
- Develop the product strategy and roadmap based on a deep understanding of business drivers, competition, and stakeholder needs.
- Own the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond, including management of product development, feature prioritization, release planning, and ongoing product maintenance.
- Break down complex problems and processes into feature components that drive product development and platform extensibility.
- Define, document, and prioritize product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to guide the development process and ensure clear communication between stakeholders.
- Partner with a team of product managers to identify cross-product opportunities and to ensure all problems are considered within the context of the target state product architecture.
- Design and monitor business metrics related to product usage, adoption, and client satisfaction, and establish a feedback loop informing strategic and prioritization-related decisions.
You will be successful in this role if you have proven experience with:
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams, from presenting conceptual ideas to execution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to deliver presentations and communicate within and outside the organization.
- Ability to work and deliver results independently, a self-starter with an ability to get in the weeds where necessary.
- Leading the definition of requirements and test cases for Engineering and QA.
- Ability to partner and drive results with third party vendors.
- Solving business solutions at scale with technology.
- Drive AI strategy, roadmap and adoption across the investing functions and platforms
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (7+ years) in product management within the financial services industry, specifically within asset management
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields is preferred.
- Prior experience/understanding of financial instruments and products
- Prior experience/understanding of Investment Lifecyle across front, middle, and back-office functions (ideally from an Asset Management perspective)
- Experience with all stages of the development lifecycle: inception, analysis, design, review, testing, and deployment leveraging agile development methodologies and tools.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions and derive actionable insights from market and usage data.
- Proficiency in collaborating with technical teams, understanding software architecture, and translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success in working with cross-functional teams, managing complex projects, and delivering software solutions on schedule and within budget.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience working directly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Ensure systems can scale to handle increasing business volumes, optimize performance and throughput. Good understanding of distributed systems.
Be an advocate of best practices for system design and conformance to high standards for coding, testing, debugging and implementation
