Who We Look For
As a developer in Product Control team, you will be an integral part of the AMD Engineering Ecosystem. You will design and implement complex, scalable system for AMD back-office space. You will also participate in various projects and initiatives within Product Control technology while ensuring the scalability and integrity of the platform.
Skills and Experience We Are Looking For
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science or related Engineering Field
- 3 plus years of Java development and other programming languages with experience in Object Oriented Analysis, Design and testing best practices
- Experience in building scalable and distributed platforms (AWS cloud technologies is a plus).
- Knowledge in one or more SQL dialects.
- Self-motivated with analytical mindset who can multi-task to solve interesting and difficult technical problems under time pressure and resource constraints
- Experience with all stages of the development lifecycle: inception, analysis, design, review, testing, and deployment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- A background in data intensive applications and Batch Process.
- Experience in AWS Cloud technologies.
- Comfortable working in highly dynamic and rapid development environment (Agile development experience)
- Working knowledge/experience in the financial or banking industry
- Technologies & Tools: Java, Web/RESTful service development: HTML 5, JavaScript/ReactJS, JSON, Kubernetes, SQL, testing and build tools.
