The Natural Resources Group is a global team with bankers around the world. The group has a significant presence with offices in New York, Houston, Toronto, Calgary, London, Hong Kong and Buenos Aires, among others. The group covers Metals & Mining, Chemicals, Power & Utilities, and Energy (including Alternative and Renewable Energy).

How you will Fulfill Your Potential

Our Vice Presidents play an important role in developing and strengthening our client relationships, leading our advisory teams and in structuring and executing a full range of financial transactions.

Responsibilities Include

  • Creating and analyzing financial models, helping manage transaction processes and assisting in structuring transactions.
  • Developing financial models, performing customized company valuation analysis and actively being involved in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions and fixed income and equity issuances.
  • Organizing and preparing presentations, which explain industry trends, assessing clients situations to provide the necessary financial advice and recommending strategies to meet client goals
  • Coordinating teams of tax advisors, auditors, attorneys, and bankers for various transactions; leading due diligence processes and actively participating in the negotiations of legal documentation, preparations of internal committee presentations and funding.

Skills and Experience

  • Master’s Degree and several years of Natural Resources investment banking experience; OR Bachelor’s degree and seven years or more of Natural Resources (Chemicals) investment banking or equivalent experience
  • Strong track record of executing M&A and financing transactions in an investment banking advisory role
  • Two plus years experience in leading deal teams of analysts and associates
  • History of outstanding academic and professional achievement

Salary Range

The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $150000-$300000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
