REAL ESTATE ASSET MANAGEMENT
Responsible for the active asset management of value add and opportunistic real estate portfolio in Japan, with a primary focus on executing complex business plans, asset repositioning and capital-intensive strategies to deliver outsized risk adjusted returns.
The candidate will utilise market insight and sector knowledge to develop and implement strategic asset management plans, optimise returns and manage risk. The position requires analytical, data driven approach to decision making, and the ability to manage key stakeholder relationships to ensure effective execution.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute asset-level business plans aligned with fund return objectives.
- Partner closely with external counter parties to ensure effective execution.
- Drive value-creation initiatives focused on revenue growth, operational efficiency and capital enhancement.
- Prepare clear financial and commercial analysis to support recommendations on leasing, capex, disposals and broader asset management decisions.
- Manage capital expenditure programmes and asset repositioning in collaboration with Development & Construction and ESG teams.
- Lead the origination, structuring and execution of complex asset disposal strategies.
- Support acquisition underwriting with market insight and due-diligence contribution.
- Identify and mitigate legal, compliance and reputational risk across the portfolio.
- Foster effective cross-functional collaboration with internal teams (Finance, Compliance, Tax Legal, and other internal stakeholders as needed).
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong academic background (including but not limited to real estate, economics, accounting or math).
- 6 plus years of real estate experience across asset management and transactional roles
- Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel skills and financial modelling capability is a plus.
- Self-motivated; able to drive results andwork both independently and collaboratively.
- Native level Japanese proficiency and business level English required.
