As a Front Office Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing cutting-edge software solutions. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing robust, low-latency systems crucial for pricing, quoting, and hedging a diverse range of financial instruments, such as USTs, Swaps, and MBS. You will also develop innovative platforms that enable efficient risk and P&L management for our trading desks. A key aspect of your role will involve leveraging AI-driven analytics for sophisticated data analysis and to inform predictive pricing strategies.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- STEM degree
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills are a must given that the role will involve interacting with traders & salespeople
- Strong analytical skills, ability to quickly identify scope and impact of issues.
- Ability to work well in a team setting often with developers in other regions.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- Strong programming skills in one or more languages (Java, C/C++, Python).
- Experience in software development, including a clear understanding of data structures, algorithms, software design and core programming concepts.
- Experience in messaging middleware like Kafka
- Experience in developing and testing distributed systems
- Working knowledge of UNIX.
Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $130000-$250000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
