About the role

Job Duties: Associate, Trading with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, New York. Help execute live securitization and financing deals and manage client relationships. Help perform due diligence on securitization and investment opportunities, which includes market research, analytical risk-based modeling, and asset valuation work, and assessment of legal, regulatory compliance, and other risks. Review and negotiate underlying deal documentation and conduct transaction structuring. Help conduct in-depth market analysis, and company / asset-level due diligence. Coordinate with Trade Analytics team to provide loan pool analytics for securitizations and financing deals. Help develop term sheets, marketing materials, and internal committee memos and produce detailed financial models, cash flow stress scenarios, and credit analysis. Help structure, price transactions, market and distribute asset-backed securitizations, including engaging with institutional investors and managing rating agency process. Analyze investor feedback and sentiment post transaction execution. Help manage ongoing credit and/or funding risks post-execution.

Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Financial Engineering, or a related quantitative field and two (2) years of experience in job offered or a related role. Prior experience must include two (2) years with: providing loan pool analytics for residential securitizations and financing deals; cash flow analysis for different types of residential assets; analyzing collateral’s default factors that impact credit enhancement at both pool and loan level; tracking of credit enhancement levels being offered on the notes relative to their expected loss across various asset classes to help with bond structuring; and preparing flow of funds for securitization transactions.

Salary Range: Annual base salary for this New York, New York -based position is $175,000 - $203,000.
