Summary of Role:

Global Foundries Fab 8 is seeking a highly motivated process integration manager to support the 300mm semiconductor process integration team. The core responsibilities of this team involve ownership of process integration from development, customer engagement to production. The ideal candidate should have proven leadership on tracking record of developing and delivering advanced technology for mass production. Also, the ideal candidate can demonstrate a deep technical understanding of various processes and an understanding of a balanced scorecard approach to develop, sustain, and improve the technologies with quality, cost, and delivery all considered.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead process integration team on baseline improvement and CIP's in 45RFSOI and 45RFe technologies

  • Leadership in running NPIs with zero execution errors. Receive customer feedback and debug problems to solutions

  • Collaborating with process module, YE, program management, CE & sometimes packaging, reliability teams in driving process solutions

  • Complete ownership of a technology module, accountable for prioritization of projects based on business need, delegation of tasks to extended module team, lead for definition of improvement experiments and hardware disposition

  • Sustain and improve manufacturing technologies by ensuring product quality, reducing defectivity, improving process stability (Cp/Cpk), and increasing processing efficiency

  • Detect line issues through data analysis and driving appropriate containment and resolution in a timely manner to limit the impact to yield and delivery

  • Collaborate with device, process module teams in driving development work for new production technologies

  • Drive cost reductions through expense elimination, line and test yield improvement, and efficiency improvements

  • Possess a working knowledge of active and passive devices along with an intimate knowledge of manufacturing methods is required

Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
  • Other duties as assigned by manager / supervisor

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Material Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Solid State Physics (or relevant STEM degree) plus minimum 4-5 years' experience in semiconductor manufacturing or related field OR MS + 2-4 years relevant experience** OR** PhD + 1-2 years relevant experience

  • Fluency in English language (both written and verbal)

  • Experience leading engineer team, developing and delivering advanced technology for mass production

  • Strong project management skills, particularly focused on managing schedules, scope and cost trade-offs of projects

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, which include ​strong presentation and technical writing skills

  • Wearing Personal Protective Equipment and/or cleanroom suit as needed

  • Demonstrated structured problem-solving skills and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles

  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently with diverse teams, customers, as well as internal and external partners

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the FEOL/BEOL process with RFSOI technology is plus.

  • Results oriented and focused on quality of work

  • Excellent structured problem solving and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles

  • Self-starter and highly motivated to succeed in a fast-paced and challenging professional environment

Expected Salary Range

$85,000.00 - $146,000.00
