As an Engineer-Facilities, you will deliver Facilities operation & engineering services, Chiller / Pump management services, and facilities equipment asset maintenance management to enable manufacturing operations. Typically performing one or more of the above tasks in the capacity of either an individual contributor:

Key Responsibilities.

• Operates, monitors and maintains, troubleshoots, repairs and replaces facilities mechanical components and systems such as electrical equipment, HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning), chemical, energy, ultra water & wastewater treatment
• Hires and oversees outside contractors such as electricians, elevator repairmen, grounds maintenance workers, painters, plumbers and roofers
• Maintains and secures facilities equipment asset
• Develops and implements capital improvement projects, such as construction, remodeling, renovation, and maintenance of buildings and facilities, including preliminary concept development, detailed engineering design and bidding
• Conducts periodic inspections of work in progress and advises construction supervisors and contractors on plans and specifications
• Inspects existing facilities and prepares reports on the condition, deficiencies observed, designs necessary for repairs and estimated cost of repairs

Other Responsibilities

Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Around 3 years of experience in handling facilities on Mechanical Fronts.
• Hands-on experience with Chiller and Pumps
• Ability to handle Plumbers & Contractors onsite
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical mindset with ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
