This is the Global Shared Services arm of General Mills Inc., which supports its operations worldwide. Job Overview: Improve overall One Global Sourcing efficiency by being responsible in execution of Sourcing process optimization and training. This position will require someone who can think on their feet, quickly assess a situation and provide Supplier Management/sourcing consulting expertise and leadership. This person must be resourceful and have excellent English and communication skills. Responsibilities: 40% of Time Process Enablement, Implement Supplier Management programme/S2P activities across the sourcing organization & ESC Facilitate Supplier Segmentation & category segmentation exercises annually/bi annually as required Cater to tickets/requests raised by buyers through various media such as Ask The Source or through emails Support calendar management activities for In-Scope Suppliers/Suppliers identified as Strategic during the segmentation exercise. Activities can be - but not limited to the below : Conduct internal & external surveys Create & update Supplier scorecards Support buyers/sourcing managers in their risk management plans Create & improve supplier templates Leverage data & systems to provide actionable insights to the buyers Work with cross regional & cross departmental teams to achieve the overall objective of the Organization Store important information such as OPL's/Presentations/Data on sharepoint or other platform for future reference Ability to work with ERP systems such as SAP/Coupa/Ariba etc Support Buyers/Sourcing managers in their strategic activities Drive & Execute HMM initiatives at Team/Site/Org levels i. Be a part of IS testing support by replicating the same Scenario in Q environment ensuring that the enhancement done is as per the requirement and is functioning effectively in the systems. j. Participate in meetings as and when required to discuss progress on activities/ Incident ticket raised to ensure they are closed on a timely manner with the desired results. l.Maintain data accuracy in Operating systems by working with all the stake holders and adhering to set processes. 30% of Time Reporting and Data uploads a. Update/Upload data in the Segmentation tool leveraging Sourcing Vision. b. Create & share Dashboards with the Sourcing team on a monthly basis/as per expected frequency to evaluate the open/closed Incident reporting tickets/KPI’s. c. Attend/Conduct consensus meetings with COE lead/Ops Lead/Buyer to review progress on projects. d. Provide accurate reports/presentation to buyers on projects lead or Surveys conducted by them e. Design and frame the spend analysis report based on the requirement of Sourcing Managers 30% of Time Process Leadership f. Operate with high level of engagement that enables identification and proposal of potential standard process improvement. g. Actively get involved in learning the tool and the processes to engage yourself and lead the process. h. Develop standard communication template and standard operating procedures/OPL’s. i. Maintain key process documents on sharepoint and conduct training internally and externally as required. j. Ownership of admin mailbox, used for triaging of requests raised by the buying team. k.
