Position Overview Reporting to the Country Manager, Ireland, and with a dotted line to the Head of Finance, this position will partner with the Ireland commercial teams to drive results and business performance. This role will be responsible for helping to deliver sales & profit targets and shape future strategy for our key customers along with responsibility for the financial management/ oversight of the brand team. This role will also contribute to the implementation of strategies that create value via strategic revenue management across the Yoplait Ireland business. Additional responsibilities include being responsible for the financial accuracy and evaluation of trade investment across Yoplait brands. The role calls for an individual with a wide breadth of knowledge and demonstrated experience across Commercial Finance, to be an effective Business Partner and work autonomously within the Ireland commercial team. A high degree of business partnership, entrepreneurial spirit and a learning mindset will be critical in this ‘start-up like’ and highly autonomous environment. Key Responsibilities Ownership of Irish P&L and Balance Sheet through Forecast/Budget Cycle. Lead month end reconciliation, providing insightful analysis and reporting. Ensure close monitoring and evaluation of trade spend through the cycle from a balance sheet and P&L perspective. Optimize and leverage TPM (Trade systems) analytics to develop and deliver insightful reporting on trade to customer teams to enable better decision making. Analyze Trade forecast accuracy and report customer KPI's, supporting teams to improve controls. Ensure data integrity and drive adherence to accounting, trade governance and internal control policies. Drive improvement with respective internal and outsourced Finance teams regarding Trade and Order to Cash service delivery. Scrutinize in-year financial & budget management. Exhibit essential communication skills and crucial financial insights – identifying areas to accelerate opportunities whilst mitigating risk profile. Implement tracking, action & optimization of budgets. Modelling and tracking of Strategic Revenue Management, providing recommendations to the market leadership team to drive profitable growth. Demonstrate exceptional leadership and excellent business partnership skills for strategy, planning & financial analysis as part of the market team. Use financial expertise, utilising a high level of professional judgement. Collaborate on decisions and recommendations for the brand and channel strategies. Lead Finance support to Sales team: Customer performance analysis (drivers of over or under performance vs. objectives, scorecards with key metrics) Support customer meeting preparation: shape results & provide Finance insights Key partner for negotiation scenario planning Provide insightful reporting and analysis to support the sales team Proactive use (and development) of analytical techniques and models to influence business decision making. In partnership with the Irish team, responsible for the preparation and presentation of the proposed monthly market forecast to cluster leadership team. Position Criteria Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field Qualified CIMA, ACCA/ ACA Previous Financial Analysis and Commercial/Sales Finance experience role in market Experience of delivering results through working in cross-functional teams Strong analytical skills and influencing with a strong commercial mindset Attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools Previous SAP (or similar ERP) experience COMPANY OVERVIEW
