Associate Manager (Infrastructure)

Job Overview:

• The candidate needs to work as hands-on manager.
• The candidate is accountable to perform managerial activities like people management, hiring, people review, performance review and various operational activities.
• The candidate should act as partner with global function manager and help in managing functional accountabilities like project planning, spring planning, resource management, periodic support management to keep the light on & provide input in periodic audit.
• The candidate should enforce various organizational practices & strongly manage various security & access needs.
• The candidate should also take technical accountability by working with various technical leads to understand design and architecture of mission critical Database Platform, Server Platform and Public Cloud environments as well as work with other enterprise functions.
• The candidate should be hands-on & can work to solve technical issue with team members whenever needed.
• The candidate should proficient & up to date on latest offering of Infrastructure & Cloud
• The candidate should contribute to drive various projects.

• Act as a subject matter expert for other team members and keep the light on
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve technical and performance problems in Database Platform, Server Platform and Public Cloud (preferably GCP).
• Co-ordinate with different enterprise vendors (Oracle, Microsoft, Mongo, HP, VMware etc.) to resolve any issue
• Work on projects with different enterprise teams (Oracle, SAP HANA TDI, SAP, Enterprise applications, Middleware, Webhosting, Developers, Hadoop, Cloud and Platform Engineering, etc).
• Should manage support matrices locally and globally. 15 % of Time Prepare strategy to perform various operational task
• Prepare & help various custom development process and best practices
• Form a process and technical document after taking consensus from global team
• Work with functional teams and the architecture team to determine best practices for future landscapes and enterprise systems
• Act as mentor in various stewardship group 25 % of Time Guide team members & provide help to cross team members
• Guide team members by providing valuable inputs
• Should have good understanding of various infrastructure components/technologies
• Act as guide to Functional team whenever needed.
• Help them to understand the need of the technology
• Act as mentor to understand the impact of solving critical issue & document the same

• Work on better implementation plan on critical tools/components

• Candidate should have working experience with a global team on supporting enterprise systems.
• Strong technical and functional knowledge of bigdata platforms, Database platforms and/or servers, virtualization, container (GKE) orchestration.
• Strong knowledge and work experience of backup/recovery, disaster recovery, high availability, cloud infrastructure etc.
• Have worked on in lead roles in larger implementation projects.
• Understand more broadly how their applications/technologies integrate with others outside of their own work group
• Strong problem determination and resolution skills are needed.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Ability to organize, prioritize, follow-up and ensure execution of multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
