Purpose of the role

This role provides comprehensive support to a Sr. Compensation Consultant within the Global CoE and requires strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, contributing to efficient and accurate compensation processes. The analyst will conduct job evaluations and data analysis within a compensation function.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Compensation Consultant Support:

Provide day-to-day support to assigned compensation consultants, gathering data and creating outputs for regular routines (HR Business Partner update meetings, etc.) and annual processes (Annual Performance & Rewards (APR), Annual and Ad Hoc Competitive Reviews, People & Organization Review, etc.). Support or lead special projects as needed, contributing to business-led compensation initiatives and maintaining job architecture.

  • Job Evaluations:

Conduct job evaluations using established methodologies to determine the relative worth of different jobs within the organization. Manage the intake of job evaluation requests (via Service Now tickets) and ensure case closure and accurate system updates (Market Pay, etc.) following the evaluation process.

  • Market Analysis:

Conduct market analysis to ensure the company's compensation remains competitive. This includes identifying appropriate survey sources, collecting and analyzing data, and preparing reports summarizing findings.

  • Data Analysis and Reporting:

Analyze compensation data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement. Prepare regular reports and presentations summarizing compensation data and providing recommendations.

  • Compensation Modeling:

Develop and maintain compensation models to forecast compensation costs and analyze the impact of various compensation strategies.

  • Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to compensation.

  • Project Management:

Manage various compensation-related projects, such as implementing new compensation programs or updating existing ones.

Key Objectives:

  • Provide comprehensive data analysis and draft final product decks/analysis to free up consultant capacity for strategic planning and business consultation.
  • Ensure clear and consistent compensation analysis that supports business and talent strategies.
  • Provide analysis for job evaluations and present findings to the compensation consultant for finalization.
  • Ensure systems accurately reflect job evaluation outcomes (job profiles, Market Pay matching).
  • Maintain clear job evaluation tracking and meet job evaluation Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in compensation or a related field (experience with job evaluations preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Experience with compensation systems (Market Pay experience preferred).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
