About the role

Job Description Summary

The Senior Specialist-Compliance Governance will primarily be tasked with maintaining the Company's Code of Conduct and S&L Policies, Enterprise Standards, Compliance policies and procedures, as well as ownership and administration of certain risk workflows and other compliance tasks. This position will report to the GE Aerospace Compliance Governance Manager.

Job Description Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the Code of Conduct + S&L Policy framework for GE Aerospace, including content creation, coordination with policy owners and key stakeholders. and the update and maintenance of the Code of Conduct and S&L Policies as needed.
  • Enforce the governance system for the maintenance of Compliance policies and procedures.
  • Partner with other functions to support the rollout and distribution of the Code of Conduct and S&L Policies (e.g., Human Resources, IT, Labor & Employment, ESG).
  • Contribute strategic input on the organization and presentation of compliance web content related to Code of Conduct and S&L Policies.
  • Collaborate with the Compliance Learning & Communications Leader to support the development of training content for Code of Conduct new hire and refresher training.
  • Assist Compliance Governance Manager in monitoring, testing and other governance activities such as working with risk focals, preparing Sox narratives, etc.
  • Lead the annual Enterprise Standard gap assessment and work with risk focals to document compliance activities, identify gaps and process exceptions.
  • Track key performance metrics and maintain current data in relevant bowler for operating cadences.
  • Assist in the governance of Compliance special projects as needed.
  • Act with humility, lead with transparency, and deliver with focus

Required Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 6 years of professional experience in Compliance or Legal or Associates degree with minimum of 8 years of professional experience in Compliance or Legal OR High School Diploma with minimum of 10 years of professional experience in Compliance or Legal
  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience in Compliance or Legal or similar relevant experience/knowledge.

The base pay range for this position is $130,000 to $185,000. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on May 29, 2026.
