In this role, you will lead the Site Quality Team at the first GE shop outside the USA to produce high pressure turbine airfoils.
The role is reporting directly to the Executive Part Family Quality Leader and is accountable for meeting all quality influenced plant and Part family KPIs and strategic goals. You will be front line leader with a direct and daily impact on GE's product offerings and with significant impact on the Part Family strategy in manufacturing, design, quality, and policy.
Uniquely to this role commensurates with its unique status within GE, this person will play a significant part in developing and executing the broader European strategy for HPT airfoils.
Job Description Roles and Responsibilities

Lead Turbine Airfoils Warsaw SC site, stay accountable for all Quality outcomes of the manufacturing plant.

Own improvement of Quality KPI's-- QEM, MRB line items, and losses

Own improvement of FTY with collaboration from Engineering counterparts.

Solve problems through DMAIC process and use of statistical tools identifying actions for improvement. Monitor improvements through control phase.

Own improving site Quality System along with compliance to the quality system.

Champion APQP (Advanced Planning Quality Process) into change management and NPI.

Lead a medium sized team of quality engineers.

Influence the development of strategy for the area of responsibility, including control of resources and influences policy formulation.

Interpret simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services.

Use high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of operational, product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering.

Assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders.

Offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations. Use multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
