Job Description Summary

We are looking for a talented engineer to join our Engineering team. Working as part of an integrated global team, in this role you will contribute to the aero-thermal design of Combustion System Modules and Components and their technology maturation vehicles, with the aim at supporting product evolution and design activities up to certification.

Job Description Essential Responsibilities

• Responsible for the Design, analysis and test required to demonstrate main combustion performances

• Utilizes in-depth knowledge of the combustion discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute tasks

• Perform aero-thermal analysis: 1D Flow network, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD 3D), Thermal analysis

• Execute the design and analysis of assigned projects using sound engineering principles in agreement to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements.

• Developing deep knowledge of a technical discipline, being in touch with the technical community and proactively participate to the improvement and foster of new methodology/tools.

• Participate in design reviews and tech reviews. Prepare and present technical data to internal and external customers

• Collaborate with cross functional engineering team to support hardware design & test

• Efficient communicate with the team to improve collaboration and eliminate waste. Share information and promote open dialogue.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Engineering Master degree from an accredited university. Aeronautical/Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering preferred.

• Passion for technical excellence and technology advancement.

• Self-directed and motivated

• Open mindset and strong team player

• Fluent written and spoken Italian and English

• Clear thinking and diligent approach

• English and Italian fluency

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Work Visa, according to local regulation, is required

Desired Characteristics

• Knowledge of aero design tools to address aero-thermal design, such as Flow network solver, CFD and basic thermal solver

• Previous experience in testing environment will be considered as plus;

• Creativity and curiosity

• Capable to work in multicultural environment, preferable previous international experience;

• Previous experience in aero-thermal design of complex products and New Product Introduction process

• Analytical thinking skills

• System mindset and problem solver
