Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement new tools, machinery, or software upgrades/applications.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide recommendations for process optimization.
  • Train operators on new processes, techniques, and best practices.
  • Design physical and virtual tools utilizing standard digital resources (i.e. Spotfire, Solidworks, CAD, QC-Calc, etc.)
  • Update and Improve work instructions, operating procedures, and standard applications.
  • Ability to analyze production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Support and implement process improvement methodologies identifying inefficiencies, reducing waste, and improving throughput.
  • Ability to utilize and adapt AI tools/systems into shop floor operations

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in computer science or related field (or 4 years in a related field)
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial, technical support, or information technology environment.
  • Ability and willingness to use and understand computer systems, digital tools, manufacturing software, and basic technical equipment.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow technical documentation, work instructions, process flows, system procedures, and drawings.
  • Ability and willingness to read, interpret, and document technical data in English as required by business and regulatory needs.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing operations, production workflows, and shop floor support requirements.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Ability to work independently with some assistance from senior manufacturing engineers.
  • Ability to recognize problems and resolve in a timely manner
  • Proven ability to work without supervision
  • Experience supporting continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, or process optimization initiatives.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to train users across multiple skill levels.

The pay for this position is $25 per hour. This posting is expected to close on August 8th, 2026.
