About the role

Job Description Summary

This function supports our aircraft engine and systems product lines and with a 24/7 on shift team in the GE Aerospace Fleet Support Shanghai. In this role, you will develop practical and innovative ways to identify and meet goals and responsible for support of global operations. Also, you will utilize your understanding and experience to solve customer issues and develop proactive solutions to the fleet.

Job Description Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance in a timely manner to the customers in the operation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of product lines
  • Respond to phone calls and emails from customers to resolve field issues
  • Assist the customer with Aircraft on Ground (AOG) spare part support and issue resolution
  • Lead collaboration with counterparts and partners, make sure flowless turnover and continuous process improvement

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with at least 3 of experience in aviation industry is required
  • Must be fluent in Chinese and English
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Excel and PowerPoint
  • Must be highly motivated, self-directed individual with a strong work ethic and proven abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proven ability to establish productive working relationships in a cross-functional team environment
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills
