Job Description Summary

The Customer Operations Manager (COM) will be responsible for the successful fulfilment of the shop visits within the On-Wing Support Seoul site as it relates to contract requirements including, but not limited to quality, cost and turn-around time (TAT). This role will be tasked with commercial and operational responsibility for assigned customers.

Site Overview:

On Wing Support Korea was launched in 2000 at Gimpo Airport. Recognizing the growing need for support, we expanded the center in 2013. It was relocated to the Gimpo Aerospace Industrial Complex with enhanced quick-turn service capabilities for large engines. One of seven global centers, it serves as a crucial hub for quick-turn and real-time services in Asia Pacific to keep our customers flying.

Role Overview:

  • Responsible for tracking engine progress from removal to induction to shop visit completion

  • Tasked with commercial and operational responsibility for assigned customers.

  • Focal for communication and coordination between shop and CPMs / Customers

  • Responsible for regular updates to customer and CPM on engine status

  • Responsible for continuous improvement in the GE and CFMS COM processes.

  • Work with other COMs to leverage and share best practices.

  • Responsible for the KPI's as determined by the Customer Programs Team.

  • Responsible for contract flow down to shop and operational profitability management

  • Responsible for working with Billing team for accurate invoicing

  • First point of contact for customer queries and disputes

Ideal Candidate

  • The ideal candidate possesses strong attention to detail and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ready for a front-facing role that engages customers and stakeholders. Proactive and fast in execution, they drive action plans to completion with precision, maintaining a customer-focused approach and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree holder or equivalent from recognized University

  • At least 3 years of experience in Project Management/manufacturing/engineering/planning/operation environment in Aerospace Industry, preferably in commercial aircraft engine experience

  • Must possess professional level English and Korean languages

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.

  • Humble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learn

  • Transparent: shares critical information, speaks with candor, contributes constructively

  • Focused: quick learner, strategically prioritizes work, committed

  • Leadership ability: strong communicator, decision-maker, collaborative

  • Problem solver: analytical-minded, challenges existing processes, critical thinker

  • Relevant experience in the services and customer operations.

  • Experience in Aviation or with Gas Turbine will be an added advantage
