  • As Intern
  • Buyer (General Machining Commodity) you will support the buying process for a given set of direct suppliers. In this role you will learn and apply sourcing policy, work on SAP/MRP systems and interface with buyers, suppliers and internal customers.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Learn concepts, methods and procedures to enable sourcing execution

  • Discover the sourcing process, from evaluation of requestor’s requirements to PO placement

  • Take part in the evaluation of current requirements, determine potential sources and prepare tenders

  • Partecipate in solicit activities and evaluation of proposals

  • Learn how to write Purchase Orders in SAP/MRP System

  • Monitor ending Requests of Orders

  • Meet day-to-day short term objective and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning

  • Learn how to apply cost and price analysis techniques, using available expertise from supporting organizations

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Master's Degree in a technical field, preferably in Engineering

  • Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form

  • Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken

  • Passion for technology, willingness to learn from others

  • Knowledge of MS Office applications

  • Good communication and organizational skills

  • Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required

  • Ability to handle issues around cost increases and how to mitigate them
