YOUR ROLE

As Buyer our team, you will: Responsible for direct material purchasing. Quotation, selection, and final recommendation of suppliers. Generate savings to meet targets. Creation of purchase orders. General commercial support.

In your daily job, you will:

• Lead supplier negotiations
• Lead savings opportunities and projects
• Material analysis
• Supply chain analysis
• Industry economic factor analysis
• Achieve savings targets for all assigned desks
• Improve commercial terms such as:
• Payment terms
• Payment upon receipt
• Monthly payment
• Incoterms
• Transfer titles, etc.
• Regional localization
• Timely supplier selection process
• Coordinate/support business transfers between Aptiv plants
• Prevent supplier delivery interruptions
• Tool movements
• Supplier location changes
• Supplier changes
• Update multiple reports and presentations (supplier, category, etc.)
• Comply with purchasing policies and procedures and interactions with other areas
• Supervise assigned personnel group
• Lead initiatives for assigned categories

YOUR BACKGROUND

• Bachelors degree terminated
• English level advanced
• SAP
• +5 years of experience strategic purchasing (sourcing) Must
• MS Office
