YOUR ROLE

As Sr VAVE Buyer in our team, you will: Direct material procurement. Quoting, selection, and final recommendation of suppliers. Generating savings to meet the target. Generating purchase orders. General sales support.

In your daily job, you will:

• Lead supplier negotiations.

• Lead the search for savings opportunities and projects.

• Analyze materials.

• Supply chain analysis.

• Analyze economic factors in the industry.

• Achieve savings goals.

• Location within the region.

• Timely supplier selection process.

• Change supplier locations.

• Change suppliers.

• Update multiple reports and presentations (supplier, category, etc.).

• Lead initiatives within the category and team.

• Conduct workshops with suppliers.

YOUR BACKGROUND

• Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:

• Completed bachelor's degree in engineering, logistics, or a related field

• English level advanced

• Experience in the automotive industry (harnesses preferred)

• 8+ years of experience in direct and strategic purchasing

• Experience at VAVE

• Experience in logistics

• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

• Program management skills
