Job Description Summary
Job Description Basic Qualifications:
- High School Education or GED equivalency.
- 1 year manufacturing experience.
- Basic understanding of blueprint and process sheet interpretation
- Ability and willingness to use basic hand tools (crimpers, soldering iron, wire strippers, brazing equipment, etc.) and measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, rulers, etc.)
- Ability and willingness to operate high temperature ovens and furnaces.
- Ability and willingness to pass Visual Acuity Exam as necessary.
- Ability and willingness to obtain Solder, Braze, and Electro-Static discharge certification as required.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Assemble parts according to process sheet/print instructions.
- Perform electrical, mechanical, magnetic testing as required (i.e. – dielectric, meggar, hipot, etc.)
- Perform in-process hi-pot testing; Perform basic set up of fixtures.
- Perform vapor blasting as required; Perform inventory counts and verification. Assist with proto-type or first time builds with guidance from higher level employees.
- Assist Engineering and/or Team in development and/or improvement of layout procedures and process sheets.
- Review expiration date of materials to ensure materials & equipment to ensure all are current.
- Proactively work to improve efficiency and quality of products,
- Possess inspection stamp as required.
- Cross-train other employees as needed based upon knowledge and experience.
- Compliantly complete all written and/or electronic labor tracking documentation.
- Perform basic Oracle transactions as required.
- Report problems to appropriate resource and/or Coach.
- Keep all shift operators informed on special problems involving operation or set up.
- Communicate with team to ensure all team members are aware of new processes and/or issues. May interact with internal cross-functional teams (i.e. – planning)
- May act as primary contact for auditors.
- May require FAA certification.
- Perform troubleshooting responsibilities.
- Participates in and support team initiatives.
- Utilizes proper PPE, safety equipment, and follow safety procedures.
- Understands and abides by the GE Leadership behaviors.
- Other duties as be required.
Desired Qualifications:
- 1-3 years manufacturing experience
- Assembly, solder experience and/or electronics manufacturing experience.
- Experience in a self-directed teaming environment.
- Familiarity with 5S & lean manufacturing knowledge.

- Focused: quick learner, strategically prioritizes work, committed

- Ability to use Microsoft applications to analyze data (i.e. –Word, Excel, Oracle, etc.).
Physical Demands:
- Ability to continuously use hands and fingers in repetition.
- Ability to occasionally bend, stoop, twist, crouch, squat, climb, and/or balance.
- Ability to continuously sit; ability to occasionally lift to 20 lbs.; ability to push/pull up to 22 lbs.
This role may encounter high risk or hazardous operations,
working with chemicals, and/or include working shifts beyond
a standard workweek. As such, a requirement of the role is to
be at least 18 years of age by the time of joining.

The pay for this position is $21.50/hr. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on 6/30/26.
