Job Description Summary

Fuel your career where precision meets purpose. As an Aircraft Maintenance Technician, you’ll be the go-to expert turning complex engine challenges into safe, quick-turn solutions—diagnosing issues, performing line maintenance, and executing shop repairs that keep aircraft engines ready to fly. If you take pride in craftsmanship, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are driven by safety and quality, this role puts you at the heart of the action.

Job Description Essential Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on GE/CFM aircraft engines to the highest standards of safety and quality.

  • Partner closely with the planning team and CVG inspectors to execute business priorities and meet delivery commitments.

  • Interpret and follow the applicable Aircraft Maintenance Manual and Engine Shop Manual procedures with precision.

  • Apply strong working knowledge of Quality Procedures and FAA/EASA Part 145 requirements; operate in compliance with the Repair Station and Quality Control Manual and all applicable regulations.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready work area; perform supplementary shop and housekeeping duties as needed.

  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and projects—plan, execute, and follow through to completion with accountability.

  • Work second shift as your regular assignment with the potential to support the field.

  • Complete initial training on first shift for your first 6 months.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Minimum High School diploma / GED

  • Federal Airframe and Power Plant Mechanic (A&P) license required.

Desired Skills / Experience:

  • Large commercial engine repair: Minimum 6+ months hands-on experience; prior GE On Wing Support co-op/internship a plus.

  • Product expertise: Experience on LEAP, GE90, CFM56, CF6, CF34, and/or GEnx platforms.

  • Line and module work: Proven capability in line maintenance, engine changes, module removal/installation, and LRU R&I with proper tooling and torque control.

  • Problem solving and communication: Strong diagnostic mindset, clear communicator across shifts and functions; escalates early to protect safety and quality.

  • Growth mindset: Demonstrated curiosity and adaptability to new tools and technology; committed to continuous learning.

  • Quality and compliance: Track record meeting first-pass quality and minimizing escapes; works to FAA/EASA Part 145 and internal Quality Procedures.

  • Customer focus: Delivers to plan, supports quick-turn commitments, and represents the team professionally on- and off-wing.

  • NDT proficiency: Level II experience in Ultrasonic, Eddy Current, and Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection preferred.

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Therefore, employment will be contingent upon the ability to prove that you meet the status of a U.S. Person as one of the following: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, have been granted asylee or refugee status (i.e., a protected individual under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).
