INFRASTRUCTURE AS CODE (IAC) DEVELOPER SR PRINCIPAL

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT:

The Software Integration Engineer shall be responsible for the integration, test, deployment, and troubleshooting of various production-ready mission services deployed in an on-prem enclave and AWS Cloud environments.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Bring your engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Infrastructure as code (IaC) Developer Sr Principal must have:

• Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree
• Experience: 8+ years of related experience

Position Required Skills:

• Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools

• Experience developing Bash/Python scripts to automate manual processes

• Proficient performing Linux System Administration

• Experience installing, configuring, and sustaining COTS/GOTS/FOSS software in a Linux environment

• Foundational knowledge of DevOps Tooling (e.g., CI/CD, Git)

• Experience with Cloudera Hadoop ecosystem (Ni Fi, HDFS, Map/Reduce)

• Experience with installing, configuring, and sustaining multiple No

SQL databases including MongoDB and Accumulo:

• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Podman, containerd)

• Experience with IaC principles and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Salt, Puppet)

• Demonstrated experience using system monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus/Grafana)

Position Desired Skills:

• Familiar with containerization technologies such as Docker, Pod Man, containerd

• Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)

• AWS Cloud experience

The likely salary range for this position is $232,900 - $315,100. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
