You will apply communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments.

  • Validate network integrity by developing and conducting rigorous testing phases against user requirements.

Operational Management

  • Identify and Resolve complex network failures using advanced analytical and problem-solving techniques.
  • Implement and optimize Data Center and Virtualization solutions that align with modern high-performance infrastructure standards.
  • Automate routine network tasks and configurations to minimize human error and increase deployment speed.
  • Mentor junior staff, providing technical guidance and developing training materials on specialized equipment.
  • Stay Current on emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the USBICES-X program remains at the cutting edge.

Qualifications: Required

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.

  • 10+ years of direct experience implementing and maintaining networks.

  • BA/BS in CS, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Juniper JNCIA or equivalent industry-recognized networking certification.

  • CCNA

  • Expertise configuring/troubleshooting transport-level encapsulation (DMVPN, GRE, IPsec).

  • Expertise in path optimization and MTU/MSS troubleshooting within encrypted transport tunnels.

  • Expertise in network security policy implementation and security device configuration.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate across teams.

  • Results-oriented and autonomous, with the ability to prioritize tasks and maintain network integrity in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.

Preferred

  • Juniper JNCIP, Cisco CCNP, or other relevant professional-level certifications.

  • Relevant security certifications such as CISSP or CASP+.

  • ITIL Foundation certification (v3 or v4).

  • Experience administering and supporting network access control systems.

  • Experience with firewalls and rule sets.

  • Experience with WAN optimization technologies.

  • Knowledge of enterprise virtualization.
