Job Description:LEAD WARSIM INSTRUCTOR/CONTROLLER

GDIT is seeking qualified candidates for Mission Training Complex Capabilities Support II (MTCCS II) program. GDIT delivers individual sustainment through collective mission command training, leadership training / development, Warfighter Functions (WFF) training, Delta Training, Instructor Controller (IC) Training with Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC), Warfighter Simulation (WARSIM), and constructive simulations supported training.

MEANINGFULWORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT:

• The Lead Constructive Simulation Instructor prepares and delivers Constructive Simulation training based on event training
• Tests and troubleshoots both hardware and software to ensure minimal downtime of systems using capability documents and performance of operational readiness tests in preparation for training events; analyzes and documents flaws in system configuration and implements corrections
• Coordinates the development and delivery of complex training programs and related materials in support of customer training objectives
• Encourage innovation and continuous learning among the team
• Conducts training sessions and develops criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of training activities
• Plans, coordinates, and conducts training and related instructional programs for customer personnel
• Maintains records of training activities, participant progress, and program effectiveness
• Provides guidance and leadership work to less experienced instructors
• Participates in special projects as required

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Education: AA/AS in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education and training
• Required Experience: 5+ years of related work experience; Advanced knowledge of both information technology and business issues
• Required Technical Skills:Proficient knowledge of Army Warfighting Functions: Mission Command, Movement and Maneuver, Intelligence, Fires, Sustainment, Protection; along with Orders of battle to accurately simulate scenarios.
• Build and manage databases for simulation platforms like JLCCTC, DXTRS and JCATS
• Performs system and scenario database management across distributed simulation environments, ensuring HLA/DIS-compliant integration with Mission Command Systems and full data integrity for multi-echelon training
• Proficient knowledge of JLCCTC-MRF/ WARSIM functional operations and Low-Overhead-Driver (LOD)
• Knowledge of how to set up, configure, and troubleshoot various platforms within WARSIM; Knowledge of how to integrate live data stream (fires, sensors, reports); Knowledge of how to integrate C2 systems; Experience with importing LDIF; SCENGEN experience desired; LOGFED experience desired
• Certification: Not required
• Security Clearance Level: SECRET clearance is required
• Required Skills and Abilities:Superb communication skills: strong ability to advise and educate leadership through non-technical terms on WARSIM
• Ability to develop advanced training solutions to a wide range of difficult problems
• Comprehensive knowledge for the planning and designing of instructional methods and materials
• Ability to develop advanced measurement tools to evaluate the effectiveness of instruction or training interventions
• Demonstrated effective presentation
• Advanced knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in the delivery of training programs
• Advanced knowledge of relevant technology or subject matter
• Comprehensive knowledge of related hardware and software
• Coach and review the work of less experienced professionals
• Expert knowledge of the JELC process
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs
• Preferred Skills:Experience with SCENGEN desired
• Army Warfighting Functions experience
• Location: On Customer Site / moderate travel required to other customer sites throughout AOR

The likely salary range for this position is $93,662 - $107,755. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
