Focused on the future, GE Vernova is accelerating the shift to reliable, affordable, and sustainable energy. We help customers power economies and deliver electricity vital to health, safety, and quality of life.

Role Overview

The Training Coordinator is responsible for coordinating GE Vernova Wind training operations.

This role exists to ensure that all trainings are coordinated, tracked and managed for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the right people attend the right training at the right time with full compliance, accuracy, and operational efficiency.

Your Impact

  • Coordinate trainer schedules, availability, and capacity—managing vacation, sickness, and overtime—to ensure uninterrupted delivery of training programmes.
  • Support wind‑specific training needs for GE Vernova and third‑party technicians by aligning demand with trainer capability and course availability.
  • Maintain an accurate, up‑to‑date training calendar and ensure all stakeholders know what training is happening, when, and for whom.
  • Enter and manage forecast data from multiple business units, enabling clear visibility of upcoming training requirements and resource planning.
  • Prepare training offers, billing information, and supporting documentation to ensure smooth commercial and administrative processes.
  • Provide reliable administrative support, including documentation control, email communication, and coordination across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage high‑volume weekly logistics—ensuring hundreds of individuals arrive at the right place, at the right time, with the correct PPE and prerequisites—keeping operations running smoothly.

What Success Looks Like in This Role

  • A highly organised and proactive training coordinator with strong administrative capability, excellent communication skills, and experience supporting training operations in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
  • Brings a solid background in administration and coordination, with the ability to manage high volumes of scheduling, logistics, and stakeholder communication.
  • Demonstrates strong organisational skills, a structured way of working, and the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively under time pressure.
  • Previous experience coordinating or scheduling wind turbine training, or working within a wind‑industry environment would be beneficial but isn’t essential.
  • Communicates clearly and confidently with internal teams and multiple external partners, ensuring smooth coordination for technicians from various organisations.
  • Comfortable following robust processes while also using initiative to solve problems and keep operations running efficiently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident with calendar management; able to learn LMS and tracking tools with provided training.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English.
