Perform the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line. Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Executes standard operational/technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines.

Job Description Roles and Responsibilities

Manage an operation, business, unit, or part of a production facility in order to reach defined targets in quality, cost, delivery and safety. Ensure continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards. Team management of salaried employees.

• Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.
• May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolves issues in situations that require good technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consults more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
• A job at this level requires good interpersonal skills and may be required to lead a junior team. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Explains technical information to others.
• Must have experience of High Voltage Transformer Manufacturing of more than 5 to 10 years.
• Candidates having experience of Assembly / Tanking shop with 765 KVA Transformers will be preferred.
• Candidate must be ready to come in Shifts and manage team of production associate.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree / Diploma from an accredited university or college .
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in manufacturing in Power transformer industry.
• Strong domain knowledge of high voltage (400 KV & above) transformer manufacturing process.

Desired Characteristics

• Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Thorough knowledge of manufacturing process of > 400 KV Power Transformers.Ready to come in Shifts and manage Shift independently.
