Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Conventional Horizontal Lathe Work. Expertise in vertical lathe and / or milling is an asset.
  • Readings of machining plans and knowledge of different standards and symbols.
  • Definition of cutting conditions, tools and work sequences.
  • Dimensional checks: control of the use of different measuring devices.
  • Handling: control of mooring and handling with overhead cranes.
  • Reading and understanding of manufacturing instructions and procedures.
  • Respect of safety rules.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Upper secondary level with electromechanical technical orientation or equivalent experience / knowledge.
  • Knowledge of trigonometry rules.
  • Experience in conventional machining.
  • Flexibility in working hours.
  • Work in successive breaks according to needs (6h-14h / 14h-22h / 22h-6h).
  • Good team spirit
