Job Description Summary
In this role, you will work closely with customers and project team to support the needs of GE Digital Asset Performance Management Implementation or Upgrade projects. Will work as an integral member of the project team communicating effectively with clients and internal resources. You will act as, an individual contributor, on these engagements, contributing to configuration, customization, support, and integration with customer systems thereby contributing to the project’s technical success.

Roles and Responsibilities

Provide knowledge and experience to collaborate with the customer to identify technical requirements and estimate the technical effort required to implement GE’s Asset Performance Management Product (APM)

Perform installation, configuration, customization to implement APM for customers in accordance with the function requirements and design

Perform database upgrade of APM

Provide technical support for APM implementation or upgrade projects

Collaborate with Project Managers and Services Consultants throughout the project to identify and scope applications changes while adhering to the change management process

Own technical deliverables during the entire lifecycle of the projects.

Engage throughout the full lifecycle of assigned projects, influencing decisions on design and functionality to keep projects on track in terms of budget, time, and customer expectations.

Effectively leverage product capability, driving standardization, limiting customization, and maximizing reuse of content developed for previous solutions.

Interact with Product Development Team, Commercial Team, Customers, Solution Providers (Partner / Integrators), and other cross-functional teams as required.

Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with peers and team members as an inclusive team member, supporting project execution.

Effectively apply GE Digital execution methodology and project standards.

Maintain & continuously update technical skills and knowledge.

Work independently as well as part of the team to support global customers across the time zones.

Maintain strong customer relation and provide excellent customer service
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree 4+ years of experience in software services, or equivalent
-
2+ years’ experience in client-facing consulting focused on technical configuration using ETL solutions and or SAP implementation.

Design, develop, and implement RESTful APIs using OData services in SAP S/4HANA. Hands on experience to integrate SAP S/4HANA with external systems using APIs.

Prior experience with GE Digital APM implementation / development is a plus

Experience with commonly used EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) systems, such as SAP, Maximo, or Oracle EAM is a plus.

Strong oral and written communication skills in English language is a must. Additional expertise in any other foreign language will be a plus as this role demands supporting our global customers from team based in Hyderabad, India.

Must be willing to travel to work closely with our customers on site in India and abroad.

Desired Characteristics

SAP ABAP programming skills is a Plus.

Any experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP CPI, SAP API, BTP, CDS Views is a plus.

Any Experience in Integration tools like Boomi is a plus.

Knowledge & some experience working with Databases like SQL and Oracle with good exposure on DDL, DML commands along with Stored Procedures.

Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.

Software skills in software analysis, design, methodology, and architecture

Demonstrated ability to learn new software development practices, languages, and tools

Experience with enterprise software and large distributed systems
