Job Description Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Sourcing Specialist with 8-12 years of experience in strategic sourcing, supplier development, cost reduction initiatives, and supply chain management. The candidate will play a critical role in ensuring uninterrupted material availability, resolving supply shortages, improving supplier performance, and driving overall procurement efficiency and cost optimization.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities Key Responsibilities

• Drive cost reduction and value engineering initiatives
• Manage supplier sourcing, negotiation, and vendor development
• Resolve material shortage and supply chain issues to avoid production impact
• Develop alternate sources and localization opportunities
• Monitor supplier performance related to cost, quality, and delivery
• Coordinate with Planning, Production, Quality, and Engineering teams
• Ensure timely material availability and procurement efficiency
• Support continuous improvement in sourcing and supply chain processes

Qualification

• Bachelor’s in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical, EEE)from an accredited university or college with at least 8 years of experience in job family / Functions.
• MBA/Supply Chain specialization an added advantages.

Required Skills

• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Experience in strategic sourcing and supply chain management.
• Knowledge of ERP/SAP systems.
• Excellent communication and supplier management skills.
• Ability to handle critical supply situations and multitask effectively.
