Responsible for programming a component, feature and or feature set. Works independently and contributes to the immediate team and to other teams across business. You will also contribute to design discussions.

Job Description Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Be responsible for writing queries, triggers, stored procedures etc..

• Be able to create tables and other databases objects.

• Be able to debug the database for performance related issue

• Be able to run the trace on databases for fine tuning the queries.

• Be responsible to have meeting with clients for database related issues.

• Drive world-class quality in the development and support of products

• Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project

• Understand performance parameters and assess application performance

• Advanced Query Optimization

• Index Design & Tuning

• Stored Procedures & Functions

• Triggers & Constraints

• Partitioning & Sharding

• Replication & High Availability

• Backup & Recovery Planning

• Schema Design & Data Modelling

• Cloud Database Services (AWS/Azure/GCP)

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field with 8 to 12 Years of experience.

Business Acumen:

• Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems

• Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts

• Has the ability to analyse impact of technology choices

Leadership & Collaboration

• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level database developers

• Lead code reviews and enforce coding standards

• Collaborate with architects, developers, and business analysts

• Translate complex business requirements into technical database solutions

• Present database strategies to non-technical stakeholders Personal Attributes:
