Job Description

You will be part of the GE Vernova Wind business, in the Commercial Organization in Onshore Wind, in the Sales Operations and Commercial Risk team for EMEA and APAC regions. You will participate in and review certain operations of the team, coordinating with related functions to maintain smooth daily functioning.

This part time 4 hour per day position is open in Madrid.

This position can be a great opportunity to further acquire knowledge for a soon-to-be or recent graduate and materialize concepts and practices learned at the university level into a dynamic and engaging workplace.

The team you will be part of is responsible for risk reviews of commercial contracts, supply and demand coordination and volume forecast.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling risk reviews for all levels of approvals required, making sure the necessary stakeholders can be present; manage MOM and meeting agendas as needed.
  • Scheduling handover meetings from commercial to execution, making sure key stakeholders can be present.
  • Ensuring all necessary documentation is stored correctly for the handover meeting to be successful.
  • Maintain process-related information in the official database / repository.
  • Support the update and maintenance of standard contracts and related tools.
  • Update volume demand in our internal systems and represent the commercial function in the weekly pacing with the fulfillment team.
  • Prepare volume update files for the monthly operating reviews of the commercial team.
  • Manage the communications of the Risk Team.
  • Additional support to the Sales Operations and Risk Team as necessities and processes evolve.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in bachelor’s degree or similar, preferred Law or Business Administration.
  • Contemporary IT skills, including MS Excel and web-based applications.
  • Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
  • Spanish not mandatory but considered as surplus
  • Part time morning availability 4 hours per day.
  • Office work: 3 days a week as a minimum in the Madrid office is mandatory.
  • Candidate needs to be enrolled in university studies during the complete internship.
  • If contracted in Spain: Non-national candidates are responsible to know the minimum documentation requirements to be able to be contracted in country: NIE- Social Security Affiliation Number in Spain (NAF) and Bank Account in Spain. They must be in possession of them at the time of start hiring. GE will not sponsor this requirement.
