Job Description Summary
In this role, you will provide expertise on manufacturing operation including line development, manufacturing process optimization, to achieve best quality, less labor time, quicker lead time for GE Products.
Job Description Essential Responsibilities:
- Participate in EHS related actions to improve production safety
- Provide technical ownership for manufacturing processes and quality improvement of products
- Participate to root cause analysis for all quality defects and/or quality findings.
- Implementation of corrective action and preventative action for process quality issues.
- Provide technical expertise / solution for daily manufacturing technical issues
- Be responsible for review drawing, manufacturing procedure and daily production plan
- Prepare tool & fixture, consumables & equipment for production within the budget
- Improve assigned manufacturing line on Lead time, capacity, labor hour, layout... and perform Lean
manufacturing project - Manufacturing cost estimation, product cost reduction initiative.
- Other tasks as assigned by the direct manager.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering or Technology from an accredited college or university
- Have at least three-year working experience in manufacturing roles
Desired Characteristics
- Have experience with Lean manufacturing- Can communicate fluently in English
- Experience with CAD software.
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Tool or process design experience
- Open, honest, and trustworthy
- Can work individually and/or in a team and can handle high working pressure / Resilience
- Up to date technical knowledge of the latest trends in manufacturing technology
