The IT Resource Planning group is an integral part of the IT Strategy and Metrics team. The group provides critical resource planning for 1300+ employees and contractors to enable enterprise resource planning to support our IT project portfolio (100-110 projects yearly) worldwide.  This includes, project resource demand forecast planning, space planning, coordination with HR/Recruiting regarding contractor conversions/contract to hire positions, and time & attendance process and reporting.   The IT Resource Planning Lead is overall responsible for delivering the groups responsibilities as well as managing 4.   - Overall Resource Planning coordination and Management - Manage team of resource planners to support resource domains.  This includes feedback,       mentoring and escalation resolution. - Work with Portfolio Manager and IT Financial planning to ensure alignment (project start dates, overall costs for internal/external costs) on overall IT portfolio - Process Improvement - Research and identify improvements to current resource planning tools. - Work with resource planners, project managers and domain stakeholders to identify and communicate process improvement and roll out across IT. - Strategically look to mature resource planning discipline and to streamline deliverables. - Contingent Resource sourcing - Single interface point to IQN, work with IQN team to identify sourcing issues, skill gaps and process improvements. - Tenure reporting and tracking. - Review time to fill by skill to identify gaps in our vendor base.  Work with IQN to identify additional vendors if needed. - Owner of all changes in tools that relate to Resource Planning.  This includes the Clarity tool, any excel tools. - Research workspace options for collaboration and  effectiveness - Review open contract to hire positions w/ hiring managers and HR/Recruiting - Reporting and analytics - Create/deliver enterprise level resource planning reports (such as utilization) and meet with various stakeholders (VP domain leads, CIO, etc.) to discuss overall resource needs, risks, and       opportunities. - Create standard reporting templates that will be used across each domain to show resource demand, constraints and upcoming demand. - Review and analyze cross domain data to identify blockers and constraints that prevent IT from scaling - Review and analyze resource data to identify skills that are not adequately covered leveraging employees and work with HR/Domain Lead to address. ## Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - 10-15 years of resource planning, minimum 3-5 years in an IT context - 7+ years of leadership experience in managing teams and influencing senior level management and key stakeholders - Change agent with proven leadership skills and the ability to engage with and influence key stakeholders across disparate IT and business functional areas - Strong management practices and techniques; a track record of improving team performance holistically and succession planning - Ability to self prioritize with minimal guidance in a fast paced environment
