The Arion Hotel was built in 1967 and has 106 keys and 61 Bungalows, and the Nafsika opened in 1980 and has 136 keys. Under the same ownership is a large private beach club and marina. Nafsika is open through the year, while Arion and the bungalows operate eight months of the year. Adding to the complement of on-site F&B operations (8 Restaurants and Bars), there are also two third party restaurants on site.

About the Role At Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens**(ranked No. 17 in the World’s 50 Best Hotels), we are seeking a highly engaged Assistant Waiter to join our** Pelagos Restaurant team for the Season 2026 (minimum 6 or 7 months contract). You will assist the wait staff in delivering exceptional service, ensuring guests enjoy a seamless dining experience that reflects the restaurant’s Michelin-star standards.

What You Will Do

• Assist in describing and presenting menu items, including food and beverage, to guests in an engaging and knowledgeable manner.

• Communicate guest orders, including any special requests, to the kitchen and coordinate timely delivery of items.

• Assist with table setup, breakdown, and maintenance of buffets, food stations, and service areas.

• Retrieve and stock linen, china, silver, glassware, and other food and beverage supplies.

• Serve appetizers, coffee, tea, bread, and butter according to Four Seasons standards.

• Provide unobtrusive and professional service, supporting the team during high-volume periods.

• Collaborate with stewarding, culinary, and housekeeping teams to ensure seamless service.

• Operate tea/coffee equipment and assist with in-room dining and other hotel outlets as required.

• Maintain safety and hygiene protocols, responding appropriately to any emergency or safety situation.

• Assist colleagues in completing other duties, including clearing tables, food running, mise-en-place, polishing equipment, and cleaning service areas.

What You Bring

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.

• Applicants must have European Passport or the legal right to work in Greece.

• Previous experience in food and beverage service is an advantage.

• Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Greek is an advantage.

• Food handling and sanitation certification is a plus.

Schedule & Hours

• Summer Seasonal Job – 5 working days per week, with 2 days off.
