Fortinet is seeking individuals to join the EMEA IT Network Team, based in Sophia Antipolis, France.

This technical role is located in Frankfurt and candidates should have strong experience in network design and security technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides and implements network design and services across the EMEA region.

• Perform deployment, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of Fortinet security solutions in production environments across the EMEA region.

• Perform project risk analysis based on technical elements and implement mitigation plans.

• Writes project-related documents (topologies, test plans, methods of procedures), including any required technical architecture diagrams.

• Possesses good troubleshooting skills and takes a structured approach to problem solving.

• Upgrade and maintain hardware and software following ITIL best practices.

• Provides network support to users by handling incidents and issues until resolution.

• Develops core competency in Fortinet’s products and technologies.

• Travel as needed to support and deploy network solutions across our offices in EMEA.

Skills and Attributes Requirements:

• Strong troubleshooting skills and a structured approach to problem solving.

• Experience with security products, including firewalls, IPsec, IDS/IPS, anti-spam, and AV.

• Experience with L2 switching and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, etc.).

• Work experience with Fortinet products is a plus. Forti Gate knowledge is highly desirable.

• Positive, communicative, and customer-oriented attitude

• Ability to work in a multicultural team environment

• Scripting knowledge is advantageous.

• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Educational and Experience Requirements:

• Five or more years of experience in network design and security

• Advanced knowledge of English and German (written and spoken)
