Systems Engineer – Sec Ops Our Team

The Fortinet Systems Engineering team is a group of technically skilled and commercially astute professionals who are passionate about solving our customers' challenges through the delivery of industry-leading Cybersecurity solutions.

We are looking for a Systems Engineer working in a dedicated Sec Ops Team, mainly with our sales representatives on Sec Ops opportunities and as well with the channel representatives to grow the Fortinet Sec Ops partner landscape across the region. The Sec Ops Systems Engineer's main mission will be to support the sales, presales and channel organization in all Sec Ops technical matters regarding PoC’s, pre-sales, sales calls and post-sales.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build advisory relationships with customers focusing on Fortinet Sec Ops solutions.
• Support customers and partners alongside sales through the entire opportunity lifecycle from the initial RFIs through to RFPs & RFQs when required.
• Be the primary technical point of contact for the customer(s) and partners in close collaboration with your sales partner.
• Continuously strive to improve knowledge around the Fortinet products and solutions, along with maintaining a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and Fortinet’s ability to provide long-lasting protection against the ever-evolving threats.
• Oversee and conduct demonstrations of the solutions, ensuring Fortinet's offerings are well positioned against competitors.
• Customize solutions to meet complex customer requirements, emphasizing the integration of Fortinet components for seamless security strength.
• Manage your time effectively when working on multiple deals simultaneously, ensuring a positive customer experience is maintained.

Experience/ skills:

• Deep experience in technical/pre-sales support, preferably at a security vendor or Sec Ops vendor.
• BSC, or equivalent and 5+ years of experience with technical SE / SA and SOC.
• Excellent oral and written skills to explain technical concepts and framework
• Strong analytical and critical thinking to diagnose complex problems.
• Effectively carry out domain specialist in solution offerings (proposal, demo, presentation, etc.).
• Strong understanding in concepts of mitigating attack vectors and defence in depth.
• Strong knowledge and comfortable with high degree of activities in API scripting, Python, Golang, Shell scripting.
• Strong knowledge of Security Operation Centre workflow, Incident Analysis, and Incident Handling approach.
• Excellent Knowledge and Technical hands on the following Sec Ops technologies: SIEM, SOAR, EDR, Deception, Sandboxing and NDR.
• Experience in building business with customers and partners.
• Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, GCIA, GCIH, or vendor-specific credentials) are highly desirable
• Fluency in English.
